First Grade

My name is Brittaney Conner. I am so blessed to be one of the first grade teachers. I attended Nativity and was part of the very first kindergarten class. I went to college at Metro State and received my degree in behavioral science with an emphasis in elementary education. After I graduated, I spent four years teaching at Saint Bernadette’s Catholic School before I began teaching at Nativity in 2012.

Teaching in a Catholic school and being able to share my faith has always been a dream of mine. I feel very blessed every day to have that dream fulfilled. I love teaching first grade and watching my students bloom and grow over the course of the school year.

Besides being a teacher, I am also a wife and a mother. My husband Michael and I have been married for eight years and have three beautiful children full of spunk and personality. Our family enjoys spending time outdoors, exercising, watching sports, camping, and traveling in our RV. As a busy working mom with three kids under the age of seven, my bucket list would be to sleep uninterrupted for a good five to seven days.

I thank God daily for the gift of my life, my family, my children, and my students. I am honored that my children get to experience the gift of Catholic education in the same place I did.
