Hello, my name is Katrina Bingham. This is my eighth year as a third grade teacher, and my first one here at Nativity. I began my teaching career at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Redwood City, California. In 2017, my husband and I moved to Broomfield, and I was excited when the opportunity to continue teaching third grade at a Catholic school presented itself at Nativity. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Sonoma State University. Later, I received a Master of Arts in Education with an Emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction from San Jose State University.
I love teaching third grade because my students have a passion to learn and are eager to share their knowledge. Teaching in a Catholic environment is my true vocation. It is a blessing to be able to share my faith with my students in all areas of their study. I love working with students and helping them learn in whatever style they need in order to be successful.
I was born and raised in Redwood City, California, and I am the third of four children. Being from the Bay Area, I love watching the San Francisco Giants and the 49ers. I also became a Denver Broncos fan as a young girl. I think it was God preparing me for the move to this state. In my spare time, I like to spin and spend time with my husband exploring this beautiful new area we now call home. I also love to travel and have been on nine mission trips.
